Laze Against The Machine

When society pressures us to prioritize productivity, it’s easy to feel as though everything is too hard. So quit running a race impossible to win and instead learn to love your lazy. To fight back, kick back and join the anti-movement movement with La-Z-Boy.

1.

LinkedOut

LinkedIn acts as a modern-day symbol for our culture of relentless productivity. To help shift how people think of its platform, LinkedIn will partner with La-Z-Boy for a week to help dull the grind and bring a new perspective to the way we talk about work.

2.

In-Action Figures

Thanks to the MCU, superheroes are more burnt out than ever. Spider Man swings from fight to fight, while Captain America woke up from a 70-year freeze and immediately was forced back into action. Luckily, La-Z-Boy is partnering with Marvel to save the day and give your favorite hero a much-earned rest.

3.

Escape Rooms

When you go to live events, it’s easy to feel overstimulated by the barrage on your senses. Take a break from the crowd and escape to an oasis amidst the noise.

4.

Not-Working Event

Corporations around the country will receive invitations to send their employees to a “prestigious” corporate retreat about productivity in the workplace. However, the employees chosen to attend will soon find out that they’ll actually be attending a “not-working” retreat at the new La-Z-Boy Resort.

5.

La-Z-Boy Resort

Vacations are supposed to be a respite from the pressures of the outside world. Yet, paradoxically, these pressure persist due to the expectation to fit as much “fun” into your vacation as possible.

To encourage people to fully relax when on vacation, La-Z-Boy has created an all-inclusive resort where there’s nothing to do except laze around and enjoy the views. No plans, no expectations. Plenty of nothing.
